HUGE MAKEUP HAUL | Mecca, Sephora & Priceline

For my birthday this year, I asked for vouchers galore and I can’t deny that I was spoilt rotten! I didn’t share this everywhere but I lost my job a few months ago, and this obviously threw my budget for makeup in the bin as I have to prioritize normal life expenses. In saying this, I decided that I was only going to let myself splurge once a year and maybe dip my toes in at Christmas time, as makeup is a passion and hobby for me. So in this haul is a bunch of products I had been eyeing for quite a while from Mecca, Priceline and Sephora.

Morphe Hint Hint Skin Tint –
I have heard incredible things about this lightweight skin tint and it’s smoothing texture. It did come a little bit leaky in the box, but I assume that it was just because the product has a liquidy consistency. I have tried it already and I can tell it is a luminous satin finish that airbrushes the pores, and I love it so far.

Morphe Liquid Lipstick in ‘Bloodshot’ and ‘Nibble’ (Left to Right) –
Just from swatching these colours, I can tell that the formulas are inconsistent. Bloodshot has a thick paste-like texture that applies patchy, leaving it super uneven on the lips. Whereas Nibble is so lightweight and comfortable. I’ve heard lots of good things about this range from Morphe, so I’m hoping I just got a dodgy tube.

Morphe Colour Me Cool Artistry Palette –
How gorgeous is this colour story?! Morphe eyeshadows are usually very hit and miss for me, but judging by the colour payoff of these swatches, they seem to be higher quality than any of their other shadows I’ve tried. I have high hopes for their performance on the eyes.

Morphe Khaki Calling Artistry Palette –
As soon as I saw this on Mecca’s website, I knew I had to have it! This colour story is having a moment in makeup right now, and I am well and truly on board. Initially, I had my eye on a palette from Morphe with a similar green/bronze colour palette, but it was an 18 pan so I wasn’t sure I’d get much use out of it. But when they released these 9 pan palettes, I was obsessed.

Morphe Neutral Territory Artistry Palette –
If there was one thing my makeup collection was lacking, it was an everyday neutral palette. But, along came neutral territory! There is a great balance of cool tone and warm tone browns, with three shimmers and a black. This black is on the sheer side, which I generally prefer as I can subtly deepen eyeshadow looks without it going overboard.

Kosas Revealer Concealer in ‘3.5’-
I have already tried this concealer but unfortunately, I bought the wrong shade. I found it quite hard to get my correct colour as the range pulls super golden, but I opted for the next shade up to do the trick. When I had enough tan on to pull off the first shade I bought, I couldn’t believe how smooth and luminous this made my skin look without being heavy. So, it was a no brainer that I had to buy the 3.5.

Kosas Wet Lipgloss in ‘Dip’-
These glosses looked absolutely divine online, but in person, they are a lot less vibrant. This range bares a resemblance to the Fenty gloss bombs as it has a light shimmer running throughout it. I definitely don’t regret this purchase but I hope it looks more luscious on the lips than it does swatched on the back of my hand.

Chantacaille Radiant Gel Bronzer-
I saw so many bloggers talking about this liquid bronzer and ever since I swatched it in-store, back when we were allowed to try testers, I was in love. The bronze tone is so perfect as it mimics that gorgeous sunkissed glow and melts right into the complexion. I have an unhealthy obsession with Chantacaille at the moment, because I want it all but their products don’t come cheap!

Juno & Co Microfible Velvet Sponge-
This sponge has been up and coming in the beauty world, but I had never seen it on an Australian website until now and I am so intrigued. I knew what microfibre felt like, but IT FEELS SO STRANGE! I have read many reviews and I am confident that I’m gonna love it, but it may take some time for me to get used to the texture

Mecca Max Zoom liners in ‘Chocolate’ & ‘Khaki’-
These are a new release from Meccas very own beauty range, and I was super excited to try this formula. I kind of wish that I picked up some of the gorgeous pastel shades, but none the less I will be able to get an idea for the formula with these more wearable shades!

Nyx Prime Set Refresh Mist-
I am so excited by the ‘Bare With Me’ range and as you can see, I didn’t hold back! This setting mist 130mls and is designed to be applied throughout every step of your makeup. I feel like we are going to get along just fine.

Nyx Tinted Skin Veil in ‘True Beige Buff’-
I managed to shade match online after scrolling through endless blog posts and google images! It’s not an easy task, but lucky the shade is right for me. And as it is a sheer tinted moisturiser, if it was a little bit off in tone it probably wasn’t going to cause much trouble. This product feels so lightweight and silky on the back of my hand. I can’t wait to try it out.

Nyx Bare With Me Jelly Primer –
I bought this product as my skin has been super dehydrated lately, and my regular blurring primers just aren’t cutting it. To my surprise, this claims to do more than just hydrate! It is designed to smooth the skin alongside creating a sticky base for foundation and much more.

Nyx Ultimate Shadow Palette in ‘Utopia’-
I have never seen a colour story so unique from a drugstore brand before, and I have actually heard raving reviews about this eyeshadow formula. I know this is going to be such a versatile palette as I can already see more than four completely different looks I can create! If you’d like a review on this palette, just let me know…

Revolution Bronzer in ‘Long Weekend’-
I was looking into the Kosas Moisturising bronzer’s but I just couldn’t justify buying it as I knew I’d be able to find something with a similar finish at a more affordable price. In searching for that I settled on this one from Revolution. The tone is obviously not an exact match, but I love having a golden bronzer to dust all over the face to add an overall sunkissed glow.

Revolution Velvet Priming Balm –
I was planning on purchasing the famous Elf putty primer but unfortunately, it was out of stock online. Yet Revolution always seems to save the day, and I have high hopes that their dupe will do a similar job.

Revolution Kohl Liner in ‘Nude’-
This product is so disapointing! I really wanted to pick up a basic nude liner to use in the waterline and brighten the eyes, but this is not nude at all. It is an irridescent white! I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it in the waterline, but the formula is so stiff and doesn’t want to stick to my lashline. Would not recommend…

Revolution Conceal & Define in ‘C5’-
This is my third time purchasing this concealer as I absolutely adore it and I needed another backup! haha.

Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation in ‘Soft Beige’-
Wet’n’Wild just landed in Australia, so I wanted to try some of their most popular base products. From swatching this product on the back of my hand it feels like a medium coverage foundation with a liquid to powder finish. I assume this will be a great foundation for nights out as it seems to set down really well!

Dr Bronners Naked Organic Lipbalm-
I have used this once since buying it and it is so good! It may be just a simple fragrance free lip balm but it works wonders.

Spot Medic Pimple Patches-
I recently did a review on the Zitskika pimple patches, and I mentioned how I much prefered these spot medic ones. They are less irritating and low maintenance. Not to mention, so much cheaper! You get 36 stickers for $10!

The Inkey List-
This is the only skincare I picked up as I am pretty stocked up on my favourites at the moment, yet this brand managed to catch my eye! I’ve seen a lot of bloggers raving about the caffeine eye cream, so I wanted to try it out myself. They are super affordable and their branding reminds me of the ordinary. I had run out of my hyaluronic acid so I chucked that in my basket, and because of how low their price range is, I decided to try their AHA serum as well.

Sephora Collection Peach Corrector-
Now that I’m getting older, my undereye circles have started to appear more prominant. This means a peach corrector has become a staple in my daily makeup routine. I ran out of my Innoxa corrector, and the sephora one had good reviews!

Sephora Collection Plumping Gloss in ’02’-
I knew that I was going to adore this product right from the first swatch! It’s a super smooth peachy nude, and is one of those glosses that blurs right over any dry patches on the lips. Therefore, it applies so effortlessly and leaves your lips feeling nourished.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow Primer-
This was a not something that I needed in my collection, but curiousity got the best of me. I have seen everyone on instagram using this primer and their eyeshadow seemed to be so vibrant over the top of it! I just had to have it.

Benefit 24hour Browsetter-
I am so lost when it comes to brows as I can’t figure out what style I like! I’ve tried soap brows but it just didn’t last on me, but I loved the look it gave. This product is supposed to replicate that bushy look but will stay in place all day. I have high hopes for this product and I think it will live up to my expectations as benefit really knows how to do brow products.

Natasha Denona Mini Glam Palette-
I had never been attracted to Natasha Denona eyeshadows until she released the glam palette, but I couldn’t justify spending $111. Especially as I’ve seen such mixed reviews and I have no idea if I will enjoy the formula. I actually laughed at how truly mini this palette is considering its still $45, but fingers crossed it wow’s me.

Huda Beauty Power Bullet Lipsticks in ‘Board Meeting’, ‘Interview’ & ‘Game Night’-
I was on the hunt for some new nude lipsticks and these looked so luxurious! The formula feels more like a comfortable velvet set down than a dry matte consistency. Which is great as sometimes matte bullet lipsticks can drag and look flaky on the lips, but I don’t think I need to worry about that with these lippies.

Fenty Beauty What It Dew Setting Mist-
I rarely dabble in high end setting sprays as I go through them so quickly, but if I’m gonna try one its gotta be fenty. The mist on this is super fine and wide, and I have a feeling it’s going to give the Rimmel insta fix’n’glow a run for its money.

Fenty Stunna Lip Paint in ‘Unveil’ & ‘Uncuffed’-
I had tried the Stunna lip paint formula in ‘Uncensored’, and from that moment I had the rest of this range in my Sephora wishlist. I’m so excited to have these more muted tones in my collection as they feel so lightweight on the lips, yet they last all day long.

Yes, I did go a little crazy!
