The title really says it all for this post haha!
I got to work at fashion week at the start of march and I always get a bit adventurous with makeup when it comes to events like this because if you’re gonna try something new this is the kind of place to do it.
As I was staying in the city I only had my travel makeup bag, so all of the base product that I used was the same for each day. So I’ll just get started!
BASE:
Covergirl Outlast All-Day Primer –
I’m gonna be honest here I fished this out of a clearance bin and I have no shame! It’s still a really good moisturising primer it’s just discontinued.
Thin Lizzy Flawless Complexion Primer –
THIS is my new favourite foundation. I got it for Christmas and it has such a smooth velvety finish, it’s definitely more of matte finish compared to what I’m used to but the coverage is so amazing!
Loreal True Match Concealer in “Creamy Beige” –
This concealer is very lightweight and the coverage is also quite natural, it’s my favourite for correcting blemishes but is too sheer and creamy for my under eyes.
Tarte Shape Tape in “Light Neutral” –
I only recently caved and bought this concealer and what do you expect?? I love it.
Rimmel Insta Fix & Go Setting Spray –
Can’t get away from this setting spray! It still stands strong as a favourite.
Luma Highlight Stick in “Cashmere Casbah” –
I LOVE luma and this highlighter is stunning.
Models Own Setting Powder –
I use this to bake and set all over and its B E A UTIFUL.
Napoleon Perdis Pressed Powder in “N3” –
This is a full-coverage powder that I use through my T-zone and textured areas to smooth and airbrush.
Smashbox Brow Tech Pencil in “Dark Brown” –
This is my current favourite brow pencil it is SO long-lasting.
Makeup Forever Aqua Brow in “Dark Brown”-
I’m still trying to figure this one out! I’m really enjoying using it to deepen up the tail of my brow because the formula is so rich.
DAY 1:
Runway Trend: Red Lip
Colourpop Single Eyeshadow in “Wake up call”, “Bel-Air” and “Cloud Nine”
Lime Crime Liquid Eyeliner in “Blue Milk”
Ardell Faux Mink Lashes in “812”
Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in “Uncensored”
Australis Bae Watch Mascara
DAY 2
Runway Trend: Glitter
I was a little nervous to use glitter but one of the other girls I worked with rocked up with a KILLER blue glitter smokey eye so I took so much inspiration from it! The thought in the back of my mind while putting this makeup up was, Glitter but make it FASHION!
Urban Decay Electric Palette in “Chaos”
Colourpop Single Shadow in “Take it Slow”
NYX Glitter Pigment in “Egotastic”
Essence Star Glitter
Milani Blush in “Luminoso”
Napoleon Double Duty Lip Oil
Kiss Lashes in “Pageboy”
DAY 3
Runway Trend: Muted Tones
This was as minimal I was gonna get for an event like this! I think what pulled it together was the Blush and the Lip being a similar warm tone for a fresh look.
Tarte Tartelette “In Bloom” Palette in the shades “Smartypants” and “Rebel”
Natio Precision Eyeliner in “Black”
Lime Crime Liquid eyeliner in “Citreuse”
Australis Lip Pencil in “Tickled Pink”
Australis Girl Boss Creme Lipstick in “Genuine”
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Models Prefer Blush in “First Kiss”
DAY 4
Another minimal look for my last day as I WAS EXHAUSTED….
Colourpop Single Eyeshadows in “Koi” and “Cut-Outs”
Colourpop Single Eyeshadow in “Let’s do it”
Kiss Lashes in “Lily”
Essence Star Glitter
Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink in “Lover”
Now that was a long post! Some of the products used in these looks are new to my collection but most of it is stuff that I LOVE and adore.
Thank you for reading xxxx
